Adam Joseph Zurek. 84, died on Friday, March 6, 2020, at the VA Hospital in Buffalo following a lengthy illness.

Adam was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in Korea from 1958 to 1960. He was also a lifelong employee of General Motors, for whom he served in various capacities and at various locations until his retirement.

Adam was a lover of fine art and music. He was known to his friends and family as being pragmatic, but also quick to laugh or share an amusing anecdote. Animals also held a special place in his heart especially his beloved cat, Milo.

The family will be present on Wednes day, March 18, 2020, from 4-6 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where a Celebration of Adam's Life Service will follow visitation at 6 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the SPCA of your choice.
