Albirt a former Electrical Engineer at The Calspan Corporation, in Cheektowaga, NY, passed away at Brother's of Mercy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Clarence, NY, at the age of 81.

Born in Montreal, Canada, he was the son of the late Ellen Gertrude Birt and the late Albert Edward Brown.

Albirt was the beloved husband of Chrystyna (nee Dziuba) Brown and devoted father of Tanya Brown and Dara Brown.

He was the dearest brother of William (Lise) Brown, Gordon (Maria) Brown, Robert (Linda) Brown and the late Cheryl Brown and brother-in-law of Ulana (Robert) Mellor and Dora (late Taras) Horbachevsky and was also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will gather for a Celebration of Albirt's Life, on Sunday from 3 - 7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem.)

Burial will be at St. Matthew's Cemetery, West Seneca, New York, Monday at 11:30 AM.
