February 25, 1929 – January 18, 2019
A retired Collision Man at Suburban Collision, Alfred Domaniewski, passed away at Seneca Health Care Facility, in West Seneca, New York at the age of 89. A veteran of WW II, Sargeant in the Marine Corps and 4th Degree Knight of the St. Maximillian Kolbe Assembly of the Kight of Columbus, in Cheektowaga, New York, Alfred enjoyed working on cars, traveling with his family, going to the casino and listening to his Polkas and Country Music.
He was the son of the late Theresa (Szalwinski and late Stephen Domaniewski.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy B. (nee Kuzina) Domaniewski and devoted father of Debra (late Joseph) Sobkowich of Mentor, Ohio, and David (Nancy) Domaniewski.
The cherished grandfather of Stephen (Megan) Sobkowich, of Mentor, Ohio and Shannon Domaniewski.
Dearest brother of the late Eleanor (late John) Budney, late Theresa (late Zigmund) Gontarek, and brother-in-law of the late Frank (late Dorothy) Kuzina, late Joseph (late Bernice) Kozina, late Irene (late Richard) Jankowski, and late Jennie (late Joseph) Kicinski. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will be present on Monday from 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Tuesday at 8:45 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, located at 2158 Clinton Street, Cheektowaga, New York 14206 at 9:30 AM.
Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.
The family wishes to express their thanks to Seneca Health Care for all their kindness and care they extended to Alfred.
