A Hairdresser for over 54 years, the former Ann Jiagielski, passed away at Hospice Buffalo, in Cheektowaga, New York, at the age of 83.

A Loving and Caring mother and grandmother, that welcomed the chance to babysit her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also enjoyed talking to everyone, especially on the phone, was known for her recipe for great Danish and every Sunday making breakfast of Waffles and Strawberries, for the whole family.

She was predeceased in February of 2008, by her husband of 52 and 1/2 years, the late George Strychalski, Sr.

The devoted mother of George Jr. (Dawn) Strychalski and Gregory (Kathleen) Strychalski and loving grandmother of Christine "Chrissy" Strychalski, Timothy (Ashley) Strychalski, Christopher (Jaclyn) Strychalski, Jackie Strychalski, Tanya (Matt) Moore and Alexei Ramsey.

The fond great grandmother of Kaley Zelaski, Julia Zelaski, Alyssa Zelaski, Zack Zelaski, Elly Zelaski, Eve Strychalski, Landon Moore, Dylan Moore and Peighton Strychalski.

Dearest sister of Joan (late Stanley) Mann and Josie (Raymond) Gray.

Ann was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Monday morning at 9:15 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew's Church, located at Crocker at Reiman Sts. in Sloan, New York at 10 AM.

Interment will take place after the Mass, at St. Adalbert Cemetery, in Lancaster, New York.
