A retired Machine Operator, with over 30 years of service at the General Motors Delevan Plant, in Buffalo, New York, Arthur R. Zurek, passed away at Buffalo Mercy Hospital, at the age of 87.

A Korean War, Army veteran, Art also played with the Buffalo Bills when they were a Semi-Pro team, was an Amateur Boxer, an avid Fisherman and extremely enjoyed Astronomy and Photography.

He was the beloved son of late Virginia (nee Mackiewicz) and late Adam Zurek, Sr.

The devoted father of Jason (Victoria) Zurek and dearest brother of Adam Zurek and late Alex (Caroline) Zurek and late David (Linda) Zurek.

He was also survived by nieces, nephews and will be most sadly missed by his Grand-Pups Stanley and Stella.

The family will be present on Friday afternoon from 3-6 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where a Celebration of Arthur's Life Service will follow visitation at 6 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the SPCA of your choice.
