Obituary
Barbara Neth passed away on August 14, 2021, after a courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Buffalo, NY daughter of Mary (nee Corda) and the late Richard Neth.
Barb was a devoted wife to her husband and most cherished friend Kevin Po-Chedley.
Beloved sister to Mary Jo (Tim) Grapczynski , Tom (Denise) Neth, Donna (Steve) O'Neill , and Janet (Kevin) Mildenberger.
Barb is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Barb gave the gift of life by donating her kidney in 2008 to her Dad. She touched countless lives with her compassion, wit and wisdom. Her smile could transform the darkest of days into the brightest, and did for so many.
Barb was a strong voice for equal rights, the underrepresented and underprivileged. Barb had an unbridled passion for helping others. She was an avid gardener and supporter of environmental causes and as such, minimized her carbon footprint.
Her career as a Speech Pathologist and Adjunct Professor at SUNY Fredonia proved to be invaluable to her clients and students for whom she cared deeply. Barb and Kevin loved spending time at their cabin in Angelica where they enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the outdoors and played many games of scrabble. They also had great adventures on their many canoe trips at Algonquin Provincial Park.
Barb lived life to the fullest and carried her eternal optimism with her until the very end.
Rest easy, Barb — you made your mark.
