Ruzewski, Jr.
September 15, 1934 – June 17, 2015
A former Machinist at Dresser Industries, of Buffalo, New York, a Charter Bus Driver at National, as well as a Selector, at the Tops Warehouse, in Lancaster, New York, passed away at Sisters Hospital St. Joseph Campus, at the age of 80.
The beloved husband of the late Diana (nee Grassman) Ruzewski. And devoted father of Bernard Ruzewski, Kathleen (James) Ketterer, Patricia (Lawrence) Burdzy and Debra (Harry) Winkowski.
He was the proud grandfather of Elise Ruzewski, Lori (Jason) Reese, Bernard Ruzewski, Lynn (Michael) Ragusa, Paula (Tim Beckwith) Ketterer, James (Lindsey Castro) Ketterer, Janell Winkowski, Matthew Burdzy, Jaime Ruzewski, and Cordell Ruzewski and great-grandfather of Madison, Jeffrey, Haley, Carson, Gabe, Madison, Isla, Cole, Bernard and Aaliyah.
Bernard was the dearest brother of Richard (Rita) Ruzewski and the late Robert (Judy Devine) Ruzewski, late Daniel (late Nancy) Ruzewski and late Joseph Ruzewski, brother-in-law of Rose Aquila and he was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family will be present on Monday, from 2 to 8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem Rd) where services will be held on Tuesday morning at 8:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 AM.
Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery, in Lancaster, New York.
