Bernard R. Stevens was born on Friday, August 7, 1959, to Betty H. (nee Hock) and Bernard D. Stevens in Troy, New York. He was a salesman for Joseph A. Banks in Williamsville, NY. Bernie was the lead singer in Circuit Breakers, Burnt Orange, Groove Juice and Silkat6.
He was the beloved husband of Elena Salazar-Stevens.
A devoted father of Christopher Stevens and Nicole Stevens.
Dearest brother of Mark (Connie) O'Connor. Fond brother-in-law of John (Teresa) Salazar, Graciela (Michael Robbins) Benavides, Elias (Aimee) Benavides.
Loving uncle of Amanda Elaine Robbins, Mathieu Salazar, Christina Benavides, Carly Benavides, Justin Salazar and Claudio Benavides and great uncle of Lilah Whitmore and Noah Whitmore.
Bernie is also survived by many extended family members.
Family will be present on Wednesday, January 3rd from 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where a funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM.
