An Over-the-road Trucker from Brocton, New York, Charles F. Crates, passed away suddenly at Buffalo General Hospital, in Buffalo, New York at the age of 59.

The guy that professed to know every road in the USA, Charles, a Nascar enthusiast, and Trucker, really enjoyed being home and being able to do his baking and grilling.

He was the beloved father of Robert (Fiancee Sarah Oguich) Crates.

Predeceased by his parents the late Anna (nee Dawley) Crates and late Charles R. Crates and survived by his siblings, sisters Laura (late Bob) Higgs, Wendy (Bill) Burch, Jessie (George) Boyer and brother Charles M. Carlson.

Charles was also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Charles' Life at the Brocton Community Park on Sunday, August 4, 2019, from Noon to 2 PM.
