IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles "Preacher"
Rr Greasart
July 2, 1948 – March 22, 2020
Charles Russell Robeson Greasart, better known as "Preacher" to his friends, passed away at the age of 71. Charles served in the 83rd Field Artillery of the 7th US Army from March 22, 1966, till his release into the Reserves on July 22, 1969. While serving he received the Expert (Rifle) Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
After the service, he was an Auto Mechanic and Industrial Painter, till becoming disabled after a fall. He then was able to, because of his retirement, work on his home, tinker with his love of Motorcycles and was always ready to enjoy a good joke. He also was fortunate to spend time enjoying his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, which kept him very busy.
This past March 13th he just was able to celebrate 33 years of marriage with the love of his life and soulmate his beloved wife DeeJae (Evans) Greasart.
He was the devoted father of Tatjiana (Mark) Persch, Melissa (Mark) Diehl, Amie Manikowski, Steven Manikowski, Ronda (Rob) Greasart and Charli (Kevin) Greasart.
A proud grandfather of Nicholas, Russell, Daniel, Christopher, Sydney, Faith, Mark, Tia, Tyler, Ricky, Donavan, Kyla, May, Cameron, Samuel, Nicolette, Jon and great-grandfather of Christopher and Ariah.
Charles was the loving son of the late Ethel (Nowicki) Greasart and the late Russell Greasart.
The brother of Diane (Tom) Gill, Joe (Dolores) Nowicki and Cassie (Don) Gowanlock.
He was also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to current health concerns, services will be held privately. Plans will be forthcoming to have a Celebration of "Preacher's" Life, in the near future.
Please check back for updates.
