Napierala
May 22, 1927 – July 10, 2019
A retired Line Man at General Motors, Chester T Napierala, passed away at Elderwood at Amherst, at the age of 92. A former Corporal in the US Army, Headquarters Command at the United States Office of Military Government, he was a recipient of the Army of Occupation Medal and World War II Victory Medal and Life Member of the American Legion Adam Plewacki Post #799. Chester was also an avid bowler with several 300 games to his credit.
A beloved husband of late Jenny (nee Kwapisz) Napierala and late Jennie (nee Pikul) Napierala.
The devoted father of Chester E. Napierala, Marsha (Daniel) Malicki and Debra (David) Kiera and stepfather of Sharon, Judy (Carlos), Donna, Robert (Gigi), Peter (Wendy).
Proud grandfather of Heather (Nate) Stupak, Jason (Mandy) Kiera and James (Jackie) Kiera, Amy, Randy, Amanda, Karson, and Ariel and loving great-grandfather of Cayden, Mia, Levi, and Scarlett Rae.
Chester was the predeceased by his brothers, the late Leo Napierala, late John Napierala, and late Casimer Napierala.
The family will be present on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem).
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel Church, located at 5271 Clinton Street, in Elma, NY 14059 on Saturday at 9 AM .
In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to the American Heart Association of WNY, 5488 Sheridan Dr #300, Williamsville, NY 14221.
