The former Christine Darmstedter, a previous Certified Nursing assistant at Manor Oak Nursing Home, and member of the South-Line Crafters, passed away peacefully at Sisters Hospital St. Joseph Campus, at the age of 74.

She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Czaja and daughter of the late Zygie and Marion Darmstedter and step-daughter of the late Stella Darmstedter.

Christine was the devoted mother of Cheryl (Michael) Lauricella and loving grandmother of Ava, Evan and Olivia.

The dearest sister of Felicia (Harry) Szymanski and also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will be present on Sunday from 3 - 7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Monday morning at 9 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Josaphat Parish, located at William St at Peoria Avenue, at 9:30 AM.

Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY.

Christine's Family wishes to especially thank the Special Neighbors and Caregivers, Marcia, Laurie and Angela, the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital, Dr. Adam Kotowski and his whole office staff, for their care and kindness that they extended to Christine.
