A retired beautician at Edie Adams Cut & Curl for over 40 years, Christine A. Smith, passed away unexpectedly at Williamsville Suburban Nursing Home, in Amherst, New York, at the age of 72.

Christine enjoyed gardening, going to Bingo, the Casino, and completing Word Search and Crossword puzzles. She was also an avid Bills Fan and the Spicy Food Queen of the family, always having to put green peppers in everything.

The beloved daughter of the late Gerald Smith and Emily (nee Ziolkowski) Smith.

A devoted sister of Jerry (Gerry) Nowak and Betty (Bill) Carey.

Christine was the loving aunt of Heather (Jake) Jankowski, Matthew (Brandy Loshaw) Carey, and the great aunt of Finley Jankowski.

She was also survived by her adopted cousin-brother "Jr" (Carol) Gratz, was the fur-mama to "Snickers", and also left behind several cousins.

The family will be present on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 3-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem) where a Celebration of Christine's life service will follow visitation at 6:30 PM.
