Obituary

The former Clara S. Czarnecki, a retired wire assembler at General Cable, in Buffalo, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at the age of 97.

Predeceased by her parents, the late Sophie Tadajewski and late John Czarnecki, Clara was also the beloved wife of the late Joseph Daminski, Jr. who predeceased her in 2009.

The devoted mother of Ronald (Donna) Daminski and late Gerald Daminski and loving grandmother of Gerald Jr. (Sheila) Daminski, Mariah (Rustin) Clark, Mareah (Doug) Shropshire and Angel Strazzere and the fond great-grandmother of fourteen and great-great grandmother of two.

Sophie was the dearest sister of the late Celia (late Walter) Wroblewski, late William, late Edward and the late Frank Czarnecki and dear sister-in-law of Dorothy (John) Moskaluk.

She was also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Family will be present on Sunday from 6-9 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Monday at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Church, located at William at Peoria Streets at 9:30 AM.

Interment will follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery, in West Seneca, New York.
