After a brief stay at Elderwood Health Care at Cheektowaga, Daniel T. Kozuch, passed away at the age of 83. A former member of the US Army Signal Corps and recipient of the Army of Occupation of Berlin Medal and Good Conduct Medal, Danny proudly served his country and enjoyed flying its flag. After returning from service he worked as a Fuel Engineer at Bethlehem Steel, in Lackawanna, New York, till it closed.

Danny, also known to his many friends as "Connors" was a Life Member of the SS. Peter & Paul Athletic Club, of Buffalo, NY, where he held the office of Vice-President and served as a Director for many years and orchestrated many Local and State Bowling Tournament and Travel Trips, as well as Installation and New Years Eve Parties, for the Club. Then for a time, with several of his buddies from the Athletic Club, became a co-owner of Royal Lanes. A former bowling facility on Clinton Street in his old buffalo neighborhood.

He was also employed at Downtown Rent-a-Car, a subsidiary of Muck Motors and then the Cleveland Hill School District as a Courier for several years, till his retirement.

Dan also served a Lector and Commentator, at his former parish of Holy Apostles SS. Peter & Paul Church, in Buffalo, NY, till it closed in 2007 and then continued on at his current parish, Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, in Cheektowaga, New York, till just recently, stopping due to his illness.

Daniel was a loving son of the late Mary (nee Lewandowski) and Andrew Kozuck.

He was the beloved husband of over 60 years, to his first love and soulmate Barbara (nee Zukowski) Kozuch.

A devoted father of Dennis (Lori) Kozuch and Douglas (Donna) Kozuch and proud grandpa of Berkeley Kozuch, Bradley Kozuch and Austin Kozuch.

The dearest brother-in-law of Sharon (Norbert) Handzlik and the late Joan (Walter) Ratajczak and was also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family will be present on Thursday, June 27, 2019, from 3 to 8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, located at 2158 Clinton Street, in Cheektowaga, New York 14206 on Friday, June 28, 2019, at 8:30 AM .

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York.
