A retired Electrician at Trico, Co. and Niagara Ceramics, both of Buffalo, NY, Daniel C. Sabadasz, passed away at the age of 72.

A former Sargeant in the US Army, during the Vietnam War who received the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and was considered an Expert Rifleman, served from July of 1966 till July of 1969. He was also an active member of the VFW Leonard Post, Jr. Post #6251, of Cheektowaga, New York.

Daniel the son of the late Helen (nee Pasko) and the late Nicholas Sabadasz, was predeceased on, August 20, 2011, by his beloved wife, the late Rita (nee Ziolkowski) Sabadasz.

He was the devoted father of Melissa G. (Mark) Anderson, Daniel J. Sabadasz, Christie Sabadasz, Melissa Sabadasz and step-father of Michelle (Chris) Liebler, Chris Szymanski, and Joe Szymanski.

Dan was also survived by several grandchildren, a great-grandchild, a brother, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

The family will be present for visitation, on Sunday afternoon, from 4-8 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William Street (near Harlem), in Cheektowaga, New York.

Family and friends are also invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Gualbert Church, located at 83 Gualbert Avenue, at Doat Street, in Cheektowaga, New York on Monday morning, at 10 AM.

Interment with Military Honors will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.
