Daniel Frank Sikorski, was born on September 19, 1939, in Niagara Falls, NY to Sophie (nee Kania) and Frank Sikorski. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who dedicated his life to his country and his family. He was retired from the Treasury Department at the Federal Reserve Bank in Buffalo, New York where he was the Assistant Chief of Cash Division.
Dan was the beloved husband to the late Patricia (nee Arabas) who passed away on February 11, 2026. He was a devoted father to his children, Michelle (Vince) Baudo, Kim Ball, and Craig (Robin) Sikorski. He cherished his role as a loving grandfather to his grandchildren—Chauntele (Kevin) Matthews, Brittaney (Andrew) Sikorski-Gilcrest, Jamie (Shawn) Bowie, Danielle (Kyler Kilgore) Sikorski, and Shaunna Stanley—who brought him immense joy and pride.
Daniel was also a dearest brother, remembered fondly by his sister Patricia (late William) Milliman and the late Jerry (Kathy) Sikorski. His life was enriched by the love of many nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Daniel's life on Sunday, July 12th, from 1-4 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William St, near Harlem Road.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Philip the Apostle Parish, 950 Losson Road, on Monday, July 13th, at 10 AM. Please assemble at the church.
Daniel's memory will be cherished by all who knew him, as he leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and warmth in the lives he touched.
