David Michael Muszynski, was born on Tuesday, August 21, 1951 to Dorothy (nee Walleck) and Henry Muszynski in Buffalo, New York. David passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026 — a week after celebrating his 75th birthday. A man of quiet strength, steadfast dedication, and warm-hearted love, David leaves behind a family whose lives were forever enriched by his presence.

David answered the call of duty by proudly serving his country in the United States Army from 1971 to 1972. His service was a testament to his deep sense of responsibility and love for his nation — values that would define the rest of his life.

Following his military service, David channeled that same discipline and pride into a distinguished career in Quality Control at General Motors in Buffalo, NY, where he worked faithfully for over 35 years. His colleagues knew him as a man who held himself to the highest standards, ensuring that the work they produced was something to be proud of — a reflection of the man he was in every aspect of life.

But it was at home where David truly shone. He was the beloved husband of Maryann (née Bristol), his devoted partner and the center of his world. Together they built a life full of love, laughter, and lasting memories. He was the devoted father of Kimberly Muszynski, a source of immense pride and joy, and a loving Papa to his grandchildren Jason, Jordan, and Jacob Kendziora — a role he embraced with his whole heart. He was the dearest brother-in-law of Diane and Michael Bristol and fond son-in-law of late Mary Bristol, and he is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry his memory with them always.

All are welcome to gather for a Celebration of David's Life at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street, near Harlem Road, on Wednesday, September 2nd from 3-6 PM. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew's Parish, corner of Reiman and Crocker Sts, Sloan, on Thursday morning at a time to be announced. Please assemble at the Church.

David's greatest legacy was the love he gave so freely and the family he helped build. Those who knew him will remember his steadiness, his loyalty, and the way he made everyone around him feel valued and cared for.
