Debbie worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant with the Grand Island School District, where she was known for her kindness, patience, and steady care for the students and staff she supported. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.

Debbie was the beloved wife of Patrick Moriarty, with whom she built a life centered in love and family. A devoted mother, she will be deeply missed by her children, Kathleen Morreale and Timothy (Catherine) Moriarty. Her nurturing spirit and endless support were also shared with her grandchildren Bridget and Robert, whom she adored.

Dearest daughter of Dorothy and the late Edward Cieslak. A cherished sister of Donna (Robert) Bentkowski and sister-in-law of Karen (Daniel) Edwards and the late John J. Moriarty. Proud godmother of Andrew (fiancée Elise Edgar) Bentkowski and Kyle Doty.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom she held close to her heart.

Family will be present on Friday, November 14th, 2025 from 4–8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. Cheektowaga, NY 14206. Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph University Church , 3269 Main St., Buffalo, on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at 11 AM.

Debbie's memory will be held dearly by all who knew her. Her gentle spirit, loving heart, and the care she offered so freely will forever remain a guiding light. Though she is no longer physically with us, her warmth continues to shine in the lives she touched.
