Deborah L. Loccke, née Fiederowicz, born on June 1, 1950, in Buffalo, NY, a cherished daughter of Doreen and Henry Fiederowicz peacefully passed away on April 6, 2026. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, dedication, and a heartfelt commitment to her family, community, and passions.

A devoted mother, Deborah leaves behind her cherished children: Angela (Christopher) Blersch, Andrea (David Gardner) Loccke, and Johnathan Loccke. Her nurturing spirit extended gracefully into her role as a loving grandmother to Lucy Blersch, Dominic Cafaro, Sophia Gardner, and Lily Gardner, each carrying forward the warmth and kindness she so generously shared.

Deborah’s familial affection embraced her siblings, surviving her are her dear sister Denise (Edward) Kurzanski, Dawn (Gary) Zawislak, and Joseph (Beth McMahon) Fiederowicz. She is also remembered in loving memory alongside her late sisters, Doreen (Valerio) Villagomez and Donna Burns. The bonds of family extended further to the many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Her professional life was marked by a profound dedication to education, serving as a Buffalo Public School Teacher retiree. Deborah’s impact on the generations she taught is a testament to her passion and unwavering belief in the power of knowledge. Beyond the classroom, she was an active member of the University at Buffalo Women's Club and engaged fully in several book clubs, where she forged friendships and shared in the joy of discovery that reading brings.

Deborah’s personal passions included the quiet pleasures of reading and gardening, where she found solace and joy in the gentle nurture of nature. She also delighted in traveling with friends, exploring new places and creating cherished memories wherever her journeys took her.

Family will be present to remember and honor Deborah on Sunday, April 12, 2025 from 2 to 5 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, located at 2400 William St., near Harlem. A memorial service to celebrate her remarkable life will be held at a later date. Please check back for updates.
