Deloris B. Olearczyk

Deloris B. Olearczyk (née Plavny), beloved wife of the late Henry Olearczyk, peacefully passed away on August 12, 2026, at the remarkable age of 95.

Born on October 13, 1930, in Mahoning, Pennsylvania, Deloris was the daughter of the late Rosalia (née Kowalczyk) and Michael Plavny. She was a woman of quiet strength, grace, and dignity whose life was defined by her devotion to family, friends, and the people around her.

Deloris spent her professional career with Bank of America, where she served as an Assistant Vice President. She was respected for her dedication and commitment throughout her many years with the bank.

Deloris was predeceased by her eight brothers and three sisters. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as dear friends who were blessed by her kindness and companionship throughout the years.

Those who knew Deloris will remember her gentle nature, resilience, and the warmth she brought to the lives of those around her. Though she lived a long and full life, her absence will be deeply felt by all who loved her. The memories she created and the example she leaves behind will remain treasured by her family and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 5 –7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem), Cheektowaga, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 9 AM at Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica, 767 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, NY.
