An Update to Donald's arrangements:

The family will be gathering for Donald's Mom, Irene F. Nowatarski, and Donald, on Monday evening, May 17, 2021, from 5-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem Road).

Relatives and friends are also invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew's Parish, located on Crocker at Reiman Street, in Sloan, New York on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 10 AM.

Interment of both Donald and Mom will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.

A retired Truck Driver, Donald L. Nowotarski, passed away at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 65.

He loved driving and being out on the open roads, and he was a quiet, yet funny guy, who every once and a while came up with a good joke. Donald cherished the time spent with his nieces and relished teaching them how to play poker and making their stuffed animals talk. He was also faithful Bills fan and lover of Classic TV programs.

Donald was the beloved son of Irene (nee Witulski) and the late John J. Nowotarski.

The devoted brother of Thomas Nowotarski, Martin Nowotarski, and Luann (Glenn) Ruettimann and loving uncle of Sara Ruettimann and Kyra Ruettimann.

A dearest friend of Lynne Hastings and was also survived by cousins.

Services will be held at a later date. Please check back for updates.
