A former accountant for RCA, in Buffalo, New York,  the former Doris L. Strzelczyk passed away at Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 83. She was the devoted daughter of the late Mary (nee Piotrowski) and the late Walter Strzelczyk.

Doris was the beloved wife of Robert E. Fischer and mother of Linda (John) Kolacz and Robert E, Jr. (Susan) Fischer.

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Jason (Amanda) Kolacz, Amy Becht, Adam (Kelly) Fischer, Jacob Fischer, Jared (Taylor) Fischer, Zachery (Mateja) Fischer, Jackie Fischer and the late Kristen Marie Fischer.

Her dearest great-grandchildren, Jason Kolacz, Michael Becht, Nathan Becht, Brayden Fischer, Abigail Fischer and Vivian Fischer.

Relatives and close friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernard Church, located at 1990 Clinton Street (at the corner of South Ogden) in Buffalo, New York 14206, on Friday, October 26, 2018, at 9:30 AM.

Entombment will follow at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, in Lancaster, New York.
