Obituary

A Sergeant in the US Army's 392nd Signal Co. and recipient of the European-African-Middle Eastern Service with 4 Bronze Service Stars, Good Conduct Medal, and WAAC Service Ribbon, during World War II, formerly known as Dorothy Ulicki, now Dorothy Hibit, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, on August 17, 2018.

She was the beloved wife of the late James C. Hibit who predeceased her on, March 16, 2009 and a devoted mother of Rebecca, Peter and the late Jamie Hibit.

The dearest grandmother of Stayce Liddell, Joshua Hibit, Ashley Hibit and late Adrianne McDonald and loving great-grandmother of Anthony, Jamie, Mychaela, and Blake.

Dorothy was the daughter of the late Stella (Michalski) and late Joseph J. Ulicki and sister of the late Frank Ulicki, late Ed Ulicki, late Chester Ulicki, late Jean Orlowski, late Tina Slykowski, late Joan Wall and the late Alice Barcy.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Church, located at 10950 Main St. in Clarence, New York 14031 on Tuesday morning at 10 AM after which Military Honors will be conducted by the US Army. A reception will follow in the Church Hall.
