Obituary

A Machinist at Pol-Tek Industries, Ltd. in Cheektowaga, New York, Edmund S. Dziedzic, passed away at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, at the age of 64. Edmund was a CNC machinist and worked with computer numeric controlled (CNC) heavy machinery from setup to operation, to produce parts and tools from metal, plastic, or other materials. Computer numeric controlled equipment is precision machinery that cuts, grinds, or drills into the material and he was excellent at what he did.

As his daughter Julianna described him "He was the Best Father in the Universe." Edmund enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved traveling with them anywhere life took them. He especially enjoyed traveling to his birthplace in Poland, where he could spend time with his Mother Zofia and several family members there. Here at home, he enjoyed doing his woodworking and playing Mr. Fix-It and being the handyman around the house.

Edmund was survived by the Love of his life, his beloved wife, Lucyna (nee Polechonska) Dziedzic.

He was the devoted father of Julianna Dziedzic.

The dearest son of Zofia and the late Mieczyslaw Dziedzic and son-in-law of the late Wladyslawa and late Wladyslaw Polechonski.

Dearest brother of Wieslaw Wes (Beata) Dziedzic and brother-in-law of Janusz Polechonski and the nephew of Edward F. Dziedzic.

Edmund was also survived by nieces and cousins.

The family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held on Wednesday morning at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel Parish, located at 5271 Clinton Street, in Elma, New York at 10 AM.

Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during Edmund's services. Current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry. Thank you for your understanding.
