At the age of 90, Captain Eddy was a retiree from the US Postal Service, where he worked as a Mail Carrier in Buffalo, NY.

A loving son of the late Paulina (nee Gach) and Stephen Labedz.

Beloved husband of late Patricia Ann (nee Wertman) Labedz.

Devoted father of Edward Labedz Jr., Gary Labedz and the late Michelle Labedz.

Loving grandfather of Allison Baker and Nicole Baker.

Dear brother of Stephen Labedz and Anthony Labedz and family.

Fond brother-in-law of Margaret (Daniel) Sansone.

Captain Eddy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be present Friday 2-7 PM and Saturday 9-10 AM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where prayers will be held Saturday at 10 AM and at St John XXIII Parish (1 Arcade Street West Seneca, 14224) at 10:30 AM .

Burial will take place at St. Matthew Cemetery in West Seneca, NY
