Edward Charles Fialkiewicz was born on Thursday, January 23, 1947 in Buffalo, New York to Dorothy (nee Jarosz) and Edward Fialkiewicz.

"Mr. F." retired from the Cheektowaga-Sloan School District where he served for 35 years as a mathematics teacher at John F. Kennedy High School.

Devoted father of Dr. Derek (Kelly) Fialkiewicz.

Loving Papa of Marek and Colin, step-grandfather to Katie, Michael, and Angelina, and great-grandfather to Jackson.

He is survived by his siblings Ronald Fialkiewicz, John Fialkiewicz, Joseph Fialkiewicz, and Mary Fialkiewicz and niece Sonya Matzig.

Edward was a huge fan of horse racing and horses, in general. He was a very generous person who never turned away a family member or friend in need.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
