The long time owner of "Buddy's Towing and Hubcaps", Edward R. "Buddy" Lawler, Sr. passed away at Erie County Medical Center after complications from a fall at the age of 84.

Ed was a veteran of the US Coast Guard from 1956 till 1964, then worked several years in the Grain Mill Industry prior to starting Buddy's Towing in 1979.

He was the devoted son of the late Margaret (Armstrong) Lawler and the late Edward Lawler.

A loving father of Timothy Lawler, Karen Lawler-Brocksmith, Edward R. Lawler, Jr. and the late Kathleen Burdzy.

The fond grandfather of Aaron, Cory, Patrick (Emily), David (Katina), Amanda (Anthony), Bonnie (Dan), and Elizabeth.

Buddy was the dearest brother of Joan Latona, and the late Joyce Matonti and also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services were held privately by the immediate family.
