Obituary
After a long hard fought battle with Emphysema, Skip passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on September 25, 2014, at the age of 69.
He was the loved and cherished husband of Jackie Sandel (nee Koszuta) and loving father of Lisa (Bill) Augustine, Lori (Greg) Jurkowski, Ed (Kristin) Sandel, Amy (TJ) Stockweather, Scot (Marce) Sandel, Tim (fiancee Jamie Hryckowian) Sandel, Kaylee Sandel and Brandon Sandel.
Proud grandfather of Jake, Mitchell, Morgan, Colin, Alex, Jordan, Paige, Sara, Andrew, Ethan and Aaron.
Dear son of the late Marion and Edward N. Sandel and Son-in-law of Elaine and Robert Koszuta.
Dear brother of Jean (late Jack) Newhouse and the late Ann Marie Urban and brother-in-law of Debbie (Kevin) Pilley; loving uncle of DJ, Austin and Brianna Pilley and other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Martyrs Church (180 George Urban Blvd. Cheektowaga, New York 14225) Wednesday (10/1/2014) at 9 AM .
Flowers gratefully declined.
Memorials are preferred to Mary Queen of Angels Regional Catholic School (70 Rosewood Terrace, Cheektowaga, NY 14225).
