Edwin age 81 was the beloved husband of 59 years to Susan (nee Sopczyk) Osika.

A devoted father of Michael (Barbara) Osika, Mark (Eileen) Osika and Mitchell Osika and loving grandfather of Shannon, Christopher, Casey, Daniel and Douglas.

He was the son of the late Mary (nee Juszkiewicz) and late Peter Osika. The dearest brother of Maryann (late Leonard) Makowski and the late Eugene (Sophie "Sue") Osika and dear brother-in-law of the late Casey, late Matty (Gerri) Sopczyk, late Clara (late Leo) Odrzywolski,  late Loretta (late Fred) Mikolajek, late Chet Sopczyk, late Florence (late Ted) Osinski, late Edward (late Alice) Sopczyk, late Irene (late Ted) Kawalerski and the late Alfred (late Terry) Sopczyk. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel Church, located at 5271 Clinton St, in Elma, NY  14059,  on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 9 AM.

The Osika family also wishes to extend a Special Thank You, to the Veterans Administration and Edwin's aides, for their Wonderful Care and Support, during their time of need.

Edwin was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, a former Custodian at the Northwood Elementary School, in West Seneca, NY and a Life Member of the SS. Peter and Paul Athletic Club.
