Eleanor "Ellie" Jedrysik, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born on January 25, 1939, to Julia (née Winiarski) and John Kutz, Eleanor grew up in a loving home rooted in faith and family tradition. Those values would guide her throughout her remarkable life.

Ellie dedicated herself to the children of Buffalo as a devoted Teacher's Aide for the Buffalo Public Schools. For years, she walked through the schoolhouse doors each morning with a smile, offering patience, encouragement, and warmth to every student she helped guide. Her quiet kindness left a lasting impression on generations of young people who were fortunate enough to learn from her gentle hand.

Ellie was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Jedrysik, who passed away on August 27, 2025. Together they built a home filled with laughter, love, and unwavering devotion—a partnership that became the cornerstone of their family.

She was a devoted mother to her four children: Cheryl (Jonathan) LoTempio, Sharon (Salvatore) Giardina, Peter (Theresa) Jedrysik, and Karen (Adam) Doogan, each of whom she loved with her whole heart.

Her legacy continues through her loving grandchildren: Jonathan (Rebecca) LoTempio Jr., Stephanie (Pak Ho Wu) LoTempio, Giorgio (Lieza) Giardina, Brian Giardina, Kianna (Mirza) Drljic, Lauren Jedrysik, and Dana Jedrysik. She was blessed to see her family grow even further with the arrival of her dear great-grandchildren, Semir and Safiyyah Drljic, who brought her pure joy.

Ellie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever treasure her memory, her warm embrace, and her ever-present love.

Family will be present on Friday, August 7th from 4–7 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William St., near Harlem Road.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Katharine Drexel Parish Community, 135 No. Ogden Street. on Saturday, August 8th at a time to be announced.  All are welcome to assemble at the church.
