The former Emily H. Brodka, passed away peacefully at Beechwood Nursing Facility and went to her heavenly home after a long illness, at the age of 72.

She was the beloved wife of Loren A. Soltow and devoted step-mother of Jeffrey (Donna) Soltow, Gary Soltow and Andrew Soltow and the loving grandmother of Cassie.

The dear daughter of the late Helen D. and Edward W. Brodka, she was also the dearest sister of Edward J. (Eleanor) Brodka, Alice (Joseph) Harris, Lorraine (David) Marzec and Irene (late Ronald) Kulik.

Sister-in-law of the late Avard "Art" (Barbara) Soltow and Godmother to Gregory and Jill.

Emily was the special loving and caring "Aunt Emily" to seventeen, as well as twenty-nine great and five great-great nieces and nephews.

Family will be present on Friday from 4 - 8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Funeral Service at The Chapel at Crosspoint (500 Crosspoint Pkwy, Getzville 14068) Saturday at 9:30 AM.

Interment will follow at North Ridge Cemetery, in Cambria, New York.

Emily was a Eucharistic Minister and CCD Teacher at St. Bernard Church and member of the Ladies Guild at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, in North Tonawanda, NY.
