The former Emily C. Gurowski, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 93.

In her younger years, Emily assisted as a Cafeteria Monitor, for over 10 years at the Grover-Cleveland Elementary School. She volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital, in Cheektowaga, New York, as the Main Desk Receptionist, showering happy greetings and her effervescent smile, to all who entered the Hospital. She was heavily involved in the St. Josaphat Church Bingo Committee, Mother's Club, Picnic Committee, Seniors and sang on the Church Choir, as well as with the IJ Paderewski Singing Society. She also fancied making Crafts with friends at the Maybells, Crocheting, creating puzzles, and enjoyed watching Game Show TV.

She will be most remember for passing on her love of Cooking and Baking. Always creating delectable eats for all the holidays and special occasions, making her Pierogi, Golumpki (Cabbage Rolls), Czarnina (Duck Soup), Zrazy (Rolled Steak), but her specialty that everyone asked for - Her famous "Chicken Soup."

Emily was the beloved wife of the late John F. Warren, who passed away in March 11, 2011.

A devoted mother of Janice (late Cosimo) Siniscalco, Gary Warren, and late Mark (Lois) Warren.

The loving grandmother of Elizabeth (Fiancé, Gregory Jameson), Catherine and John (Fiancée, Abigail Culverhouse) Siniscalco, and Emily A. Warren, and the proud great-grandmother of Amelia.

Emily was born to the late Catherine (nee Gierlach) and Jacob Gurowski, on Tuesday, September 27, 1927, in Buffalo, New York, and was the dearest sister of the late Joseph (late Emily) Gurowski, late Edward Gurowski, and late Charlotte (late Harry) Harris.

The sister-in-law of late Florence (late Floyd) Jankowski, late Richard (late Mary Ann) Warren, and the late Stanley, Jr.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family will be present for visitation on Monday, April 5th, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, at 2400 William Street, near Harlem Road.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021, for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Parish, located on William Street at Peoria Avenue, in Cheektowaga, New York, at 9 AM.

Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during Mrs. Warren's services. Current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry.
