Our matriarch; Estelle T. Marek. Seventy years married to her soul-mate "Red". Sixty five years in the same house; the home of our hearts and a gathering place for everything from cook-outs, coffee and conversation to full-blown, tent covered celebrations of life events.'Mom' to many as their need arose. Her kindness, generosity and open-heart welcomed all. Baker extraordinaire and holder of all holiday traditions shared with succeeding generations. Keeper of confidences and wise counsel. Her life was one of giving and her greatest gift was 'choosing' us, her children Linda & Janey. Adopted at six weeks old each and loved unconditionally until her death. Well-loved, deeply missed.
All are welcome to gather for a Celebration of Estelle's Life at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William (near Harlem) Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 10-11:30 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrews Church ( 34 Francis Street , Sloan) at Noon .
