November 1, 1947 – May 10, 2021
A former Cafeteria worker for the Board of Education, in Buffalo, New York, Frances M. (nee Szymendera) Faltisco, passed away in St. Anthony's Hospital, in St. Petersburg, Florida, at the age of 73.
She was a loving companion of the late Kenneth Burtis and devoted mother of Jaqui L. Robinson and the late Glenn (Linda) Faltisco, Jr.
The cherished daughter of the late Cecelia (nee Stojkiewicz) and Daniel Szymendera, Sr. and dearest sister of Daniel Szymendera, Jr. and Steven (Patricia) Szymendera, and the late Carol (Arthur) Potwora.
A proud grandmother of Raymond Faltisco, Steven Faltisco, Kenneth Robinson, Sage Robinson, Stephen Wenzel, Shelbi Snyder, Ryan Burtis, Scott Burtis, Tom Burtis, Olivia Burtis, and Jessica Burtis.
Frances was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will be present on Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 10:30 - 12 Noon at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem) where a prayer service will be held at 11:45 AM and at Our Lady Help of Christians Church Chapel, located at 4125 Union Road, at 12:30 PM.
Interment will follow at Our Lady Help of Christian Church Cemetery.
Frances was a member of the Compassionate Friends, Halos, and the Bereaved Parents.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to The Compassionate Friends c/o Christie Dunaway, 2066 28th Ave North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33713, or to HALOS c/o Bonnie Oaks, 8567 108th Street, Seminole, Florida 33772.
Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during Mrs. Faltisco's services. Current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry.
