A proud Army Veteran of the Korean War, Francis "Frank" C. Busalachi, served as a private in the 917th Engineer Aviation Topographic Battalion. A retiree after 40 years of service to the public, as a Carpet Installer, Frank who now enjoyed playing the Piano and Coaching the Buffalo Bills from his armchair, passed away at Buffalo General Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 86.

He was the beloved husband of Judy (nee DelSordo) Busalachi, for over 48 years and a devoted father of Mark (Nancy) Busalachi, John Busalachi and Joe Busalachi.

The loving grandfather of Alicia, Holly and Carly and fond great-grandfather of Kylee, Tyler and Xander.

Frank was the dearest son of the late Frances (Tarantino) and late John Busalachi and the brother of Josephine (late Salvatore) Balestrieri, Catherine (late Dominic) Tornabene and the late Peter (late Rosalia) Busalachi, late Frances (late Frank) Vitrano, late Jenny (late Anthony) Vitrano, late Lena (late Anthony) Dalfonso, late Tony (late Angie) Busalachi, late Mike (late Angie) Busalachi, late Mary (late Salvatore) Tarantino and late Joseph (late Rosalie) Busalachi.

He was also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will be present on Thursday morning from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held on Friday at 8:45 AM and at St. Gabriel Church, 5271 Clinton Street, in Elma, New York, at 9:30 AM.

Interment will follow with Military Honors at St. Adalbert Cemetery, in Lancaster, New York.
