A retired Furnace man at Republic Steel, Frank passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 73. In his younger years he served his country as a Private First Class, assigned to the 93rd Medical Detachment of the US Army, during the Vietnam War.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rose Marie Osgood and devoted father of Frank (Jennifer) Carter, Maynard "Tony" (Roxanne) Carter, Kevin (Wendy) Carter, Chris (Nadine Hall) Carter, Margaret (Dan Chapele) Carter and Joseph Carter.

The dearest son of the late Margaret (nee LaFountain) and the late Anthony Carter and brother of Rose Bechore, Pauline Carter, Linda Keith, Wendel Carter, Anthony Carter and the late Shirley Underwood.

Frank was also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services were held privately, at the convenience of the family.
