IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank "Francis"
Maciejewski
May 8, 1928 – May 13, 2022
A retired Presser with over 48 years of service at M. Wile and Company, Frank "Francis" Maciejewski, passed away at Sisters of Charity Hospital, at the age of 94.
Frank took great pride in tending to his lawn and especially his tomato and other gardens. Why because he liked to eat, and he loved the fact that his wife could create delicious casseroles from what he would grow. He was also very helpful when it came to cleaning up around their home. Like many New Yorkers, he had a special place in his heart for his tenacious Yankees and their pursuit of the pennant.
Frank was married for over 69 years to the love of his life, best friend, and favorite chef, his beloved wife Florence (nee Widrzynski) Maciejewski.
He was the devoted father of Brian (Nancy) Maciejewski and the late Darlene Maciejewski.
A cherished son of the late Frank and Martha (nee Szmigiera) Maciejewski and dearest brother of the late Clara (late Florian) and late Florence (late Harry) Olejniczak and late Virginia (Richard "Uncle Dick") Richter.
He was a special uncle to Paul Bitterman and loving godfather to Lynette Roth, Sandra Gmerek and Gary Kula and was also survived by other nieces and nephews.
The family will be present on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 3-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, located at 2158 Clinton Street, in Cheektowaga, New York, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 10 AM.
The family prefers that donations be made in Frank's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
