Obituary

The former Genevieve Muchowski, a homemaker and grandmother extraordinaire, who loved and cared for her six grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, passed away at Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 97.

Besides being an avid Church goer at Queen of Martyrs Church, Genevieve endearingly known as "Jean" to her friends, enjoyed gardening, traveling with the Cheektowaga Seniors Group and always found time for a good card game with her sisters.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Bomberski Sr. and devoted mother of the the late Sandra J. Blodgett and late Harry A. Jr. (Beverly) Bomberski.

The devoted grandmother of Eric (Tracey) Blodgett, Scott (Christine) Blodgett, Shelly (Dennis) Fiutko, Craig (late Linda) Bomberski, Danelle (Scott) Addison and Kenneth (Maureen) Bomberski.

A loving great g randmother of Brooke Blodgett, Zachary Blodgett, Jolie Blodgett, Cole Blodgett, Maddison Blodgett, Alexander James "AJ" Blodgett, Harrison Blodgett, Alyssa Fiutko, Cory Fiutko, Collin Fiutko, Samantha Bomberski, Morgan Bomberski, Kennedy Bomberski, Jacob Bomberski, Alexis Addison, Jacey Addison, Reina Bomberski, Delilah Bomberski and a cherished great-great-grandmother of Landyn and Mynah.

Genevieve was the devoted daughter of the late Mary (nee Spila) and the late George Muchowski and sister of the late Stella (late Matt) Golemo, late Bertha (late Stanley) Malec, the late Josephine (late Joe) Baron, late Helen (late Leo) Wigdor, late Adeline (late Stephen) Kantowski and late Henry Muchowski;

She was also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Martyrs Church, located at 180 George Urban Blvd., in Cheektowaga, New York 14225, on Tuesday, December 26th at 9 AM.

Inurnment will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York, at a later time.

Genevieve's family prefers that Memorials be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4245 Union Road, Suite 108, Cheektowaga, New York 14225.
