IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Genevieve Rita
Jaroszewski
November 2, 1948 – April 16, 2019
The former Genevieve R. Jozwiak passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the age of 70, in Ashburn, Virginia after heroically and gracefully battling cancer well over two and half years, much longer than physicians predicted. Her desire to outlast predictions is indicative of how she lived her wonderful life – set your goals and work towards them keeping all whom you love close by your side. Her journey has taken her to where she has longed to be once again, with her beloved Peter.
The daughter of the late Janina and Stanislaus Jozwiak, Genevieve, was born on November 2, 1948 in Hanover, Germany. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter G. Jaroszewski, who predeceased her on November 18, 2013.
Genevieve defined what it meant to be a devoted mother of Justine Schaffner (Derek J. Schaffner, Esq.) and loving grandmother of Drake Jonathan Schaffner and Brock Alexander Schaffner, whose personal and professional life accomplishments are a direct result of both Peter's and Genevieve's deep love for their family, limitless life guidance, compassion for others, love of learning/travel, and enduring will to achieve your dreams no matter what life places in your path.

"My Mother
My mother is a woman like no other.
She gave me life, nurtured me, taught me,
dressed me, fought for me, held me, shouted at me,
kissed me, but most importantly love me unconditionally.
There are not enough words I can say to describe
just how important my mother was to me,
and what a powerful influence she continues to be.
Mother, I LOVE YOU!"
