The former Genevieve Glowacki, a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend to many, passed away at Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 99.

Genevieve Nalewajek, also known as "Jean" was a very religious woman and was a former member of St. Casimir Church and Holy Apostles SS. Peter and Paul Church, in Buffalo, New York. She fancied playing card games with family, as well as traveling with friends and family to Atlantic City and other spots to play Bingo and the Slots. She also enjoyed as much time as she could with her Grandchildren, or taking long rides in the car and being able to travel about to sample new restaurants, wherever the ride took her. She loved Owls and will be best remembered for making the best Fried Potatoes and Golumpki.

Genevieve was the beloved wife of the late Walter Nalewajek and devoted mother of David (Cynthia) Nalewajek and Rick Nalewajek.

A loving grandmother of Lauren Nalewajek and Jonathan (Fiancée-Kristen McAuley) Nalewajek.

The dearest sister of Josephine (Alan) Miller and was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.

She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel Church, located at 5271 Clinton St, in Elma, New York on Friday, April 9th, 2021, at 9 AM.

Inurnment will follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery, in West Seneca, New York.

Face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during Mrs. Nalewajek's services.
