A retired Seamstress, that worked for M. Wile for over 30 years, Georgina Oros, passed away at Northgate Health Care Facility, in North Tonawanda, New York, at the age of 90.

Born in Bahna, Ukraine, Georgina immigrated to the United States in the mid-'50s from Lyon, France, where she met her husband Michel. She also relished spending time at the family cottage in Weathersfield, NY, gardening and picking mushrooms. She also enjoyed spending time socializing and entertaining family and friends, going to dances, and lending support to the local Ukrainian community and all of their events.

She will also be missed when it comes time for the Paska and her famous Neopolitan Tortes which were loved by all.

Georgina was the beloved wife of the late Michel Oros.

A devoted sister of late Wasylyna (late Orest) Bilak, late Olena, late Eugenia, late Dyordi, and the late Yvan, and dearest cousin of Rose (late Wasyl) Serediuk and family in Ukraine and France.

She was also the loving Godmother of William (Ann) Serediuk.

The family will be present on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where a Panachyda Service will be held Thursday at 7:30 PM and Friday, October 28, 2022, at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, located at Fillmore and Oneida Street at 10 AM.  To watch the Liturgy live Click Here .

Burial will follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery, in West Seneca, New York.
