Obituary

The Owner-Operator of the former Eberlin Printing Company, until his retirement in 1992, Hans H. Eberlin, passed away at the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home, in Springville, New York, at the age of 94.

Hans Eberlin and his family came to America in 1937.  In 1943, he was drafted into the Army and served in the Italian Campaign as a 60mm Mortarman in the Army's 85 th Division, 338 th Infantry Regiment, 2 nd Battalion, Company G, Custer Division.

Prior to going into business for himself, he was employed at Graphic Controls Corporation in Buffalo, New York. Hans was also active at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Orchard Park, New York, as well as the Orchard Park Rotary Club, and he was a volunteer fireman with the Orchard Park Fire Department.  One of his hobbies included flying single-engine airplanes.

He was the beloved husband of the late Ruby J. (Butler) Eberlin.

A devoted father of Kathleen (Leo) Chrzanowski, Marilyn (Daniel) Beckley, Arnold Eberlin, Nancy Eberlin, Alison (Gary) Bingenheimer, and Valerie (Erik Fuller) Eberlin.

The dearest brother of Carl Eberlin and the late Richard A. Eberlin and also survived by cousins, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews.

Relatives and friends are now invited to gather for a Celebration of Hans' Life at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4443 S. Buffalo Street, in Orchard Park, New York 14127, on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at 12:30 PM.
