Carncross
June 24, 1939 – December 1, 2020
A retired Candy Packer, at Holiday Candy Corporation, a subsidiary of Tzetzo Brothers Confectionery Products, in Kenmore, New York, Harriet "Penny" Carncross, passed away at Erie County Medical Center, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 81.
Penny, throughout the years, held several waitress positions at the Shaggy Dog, on Laird Ave. in Tonawanda, Perna Bakery, in Kenmore, Your Host Restaurant, Tom's Texas Hots, and the White House, all in Riverside. She enjoyed working so that she could spend all her money on her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also collected stuffed animals and was known to her family and friends as the "Junk Food Junkie" that thoroughly enjoyed her Pepsi, Lay's Potato Chips, and Stale Cheetos and Ketchup, while watching continuously watching her favorite Game Shows, on the Game Show Channel.
Harriet "Penny", was the devoted mother of Dennis (Rhonda) Carncross, John (Linda Snyder) Carncross, Cheryl "Sherry" Balistieri, and Cynthia (Andrew) Vickery.
A proud grandmother of Nicholas, Eric, Kaylee, Jaclyn, Trisha, TJ, Adam, Jonathan, Teya, Michael, and Ruth Ann and fond loving great-grandmother of Evie, Olivia, Conner, Tavin, Amber, Nathaniel, Layla, Donovan, Corina, Jose, and Eiliana.
She was also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, her Celebration of Life services will be held privately by the family.
However, online viewing of the Celebration will be available on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 11 AM at Link to Private Celebration of Life Service for Harriet Carncross
