A former assembler at Westinghouse, Helen D. (nee Mydlarz) Augustynek, passed away at the Garden Gate Health Care Facility, just 3 months shy of her 103rd Birthday.

Helen was the beloved wife of the late Leon Augustynek.

Born on Tuesday, July 12, 1921, the cherished daughter of the late Anna (nee Ogurek) and the late Stanley Mydlarz. She was the loving sister of the late Rose Gaskin, late Stanley (late Miki) Mydlarz, late Anthony (late Victoria) Mydlarz, late Bronislaus (late Catherine) Mydlarz, late Stella (late Dan) Poch and late Lottie (late Dan) Noreck.

She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present on Wednesday morning from 10-11 AM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held at 11 AM.

Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, in Lackawanna, New York.
