IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Helen A.
Calabrese
August 19, 1933 – November 22, 2019
A retired Tax Auditor, the former Helen A. Bialecki, passed away at Brothers of Mercy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Clarence, NY, at the age of 86. After being left as a sole provider to bring up a daughter and five sons, Helen Calabrese, worked at the Internal Revenue Service for over 30 years. As her children put-it, "she was Outspoken and Tough when she had to be." Helen was best known for making her famous Goulash. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, which she went all out, to make it a great family event. She loved her sweets, being taken to bingo and later in her years the casino with her children, and she was the greatest armchair quarterback and coach the Bills and Sabres ever had.
Helen was the devoted mother of Raphael (late William) Higley, Anthony (Miok) Calabrese, Martin (Lisa John) Calabrese, James (Millie) Calabrese, Richard (Maria) Calabrese, and Kenneth (Maureen) Calabrese.
The loving grandmother of Michele (Shawn) Lone, Nicole Brown, Tanya Calabrese, Anthony T. Calabrese, Scott Calabrese, Shaun Calabrese, Carly Calabrese, Kurt Calabrese, Rochelle Tahbone and Cory Tahbone, Shannon (Martin) McDonough, Angelina (John) Rinaldo, Krystal Calabrese, Owen Calabrese, and Lindsey Calabrese.
A proud great-grandmother of Becca, Shena, Leyla, Cameron, Mya and a great-great-grandmother of Annabellie.
She was the dearest sister of Florence (late Richard) Sekuterski, Lorraine (late Charles) Dobson, and late John (late Jean) Bialecki, late Dolores (late Leo) Majerowicz, late Martin (Estelle) Bialecki, late Ignatius (late Rose Marie) Bialecki and late Marie (Jerome) Stock and also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
