The former Helen Frances Kotarski a retired Clerk – Typist for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, passed away peacefully at Elderwood Assisted Living at West Seneca, New York, at the age of 89.

She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene Chmura and devoted mother of Lynn (David J.) Olkowski, Andrew (Brenda) Chmura and John C. Sr. (Brenda Lee) Chmura.

Helen was the dearest grandmother of John C., Jr. (Ashley Termini) Chmura, Katherine Mae (Dale) Galuszka, Andrew Chmura, Amy (William) Bellaus, Christopher (Meghan) Chmura and great-grandmother of Adam Bellaus, Haley Bellaus, Abby Bellaus, Kristin Chmura, Logan Chmura and Garett Chmura.

The daughter of the late Celia (Masakowski) and the late Waclaw Kotarski and dear sister of late Florence (late Robert) McElhinney,  late Irene (late Arthur) Bojanek, late Dorothy (late Edward) Micko, late Teddy (late Gertrude) and the late Thomas (Dottie) Kotarski and also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Family will be present to receive family and friends on Friday from   3 - 8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem).

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Vianney Church, located at 2950 Southwestern Blvd., in Orchard Park, New York 14127 on Saturday at 9 AM.

Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery, in Lancaster, New York, will take place at a later date.
