Obituary
Age 95, of Cheektowaga, New York. Henry was a Army Veteran serving during World War II and also worked as a Railroad Inspector for Conrail in Buffalo, NY.
Son of the late Stella Choinska and Peter Lewandowski.
Beloved husband of the late Josephine Majewski, and was a devoted father of Jerome (Linda) Lewandowski and Raymond Lewandowski and Father-in-law of the late Colleen Ann Lewandowski.
Henry was the dearest grandfather of Lisa (Frank, Jr.) Svara, Mark Lewandowski, Nicholas Lewandowski, Grace Lewandowski and Keneth Lewandowski. A loving great-grandfather of Alena Colleen, Jacob Richard Svara and Katherine Josephine Svara.
Fond brother of Eugene Lewandowski and brother-in-law of Jennie Wardak. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Family will be present Tuesday 4-7 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William Street (near Harlem).
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial a t St. Josaphat Parish (William at Peoria Ave) on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at the church.
Burial will place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York at a later date.
