At the age of 66, Ihor Zankiw passed away peacefully at Hospice Buffalo, in Cheektowaga, NY. He was the former Executive Director at Transitional Services, Inc. a specialist in Residential Health Care for individuals with a Mental Illness.

Ihor was the beloved husband of Elaine S. (nee Teagno) Zankiw.

A loving cousin of Eugene (Alice) Siemieniuk, Susan Siemieniuk, George Turkewych, Christine Turkewych and the late Karen (Norbert) Mankiewicz and also survived by nieces and nephews.

Family will be present on August 15, 2014, Friday from 4-8 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where a Funeral Service will be held August 16, 2014, Saturday at 11 AM.

Inurnment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, privately, at a later date.
