Obituary

The former Irene Zwolenkiewicz, a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend to many, passed away peacefully at LeRoy Village Green Healthcare Facility, in LeRoy, New York at the age of 92.  Irene D. Hajduk, enjoyed reading and crocheting and besides being a homemaker and taking care of her family, in her earlier years was the best Ham & Cheese Sandwich Maker and employee, that ever worked at the Merry Mart, now known also as the Springbrook Deli, on Seneca Street, in Springbrook, New York. She was also a Life Member of the Springbrook Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

Irene was the beloved wife of the late Edward Hajduk, who predeceased her on December 19, 2003.

The devoted mother of Thomas (Janice) Hajduk, Darlene (Skip) Marshall, Anne Marie (David) McGreevy and late Charles (Barbara) Hajduk.

Loving daughter of the late Anna (nee Ledwon) and the late Frank Zwolenkiewicz and dearest sister of Edward (late Barbara) Zwolenkiewicz, Lorraine (late Chuck) Ode, late Arthur (Christine) Zwolenkiewicz, and late Frank (late Beverly) Zwolenkiewicz.

Irene was also survived by her cherished grandchildren Shannon Marshall, Julie Marshall, Anthony LoTempio, Christi LoTempio, Timothy McGreevy, Lisa Coe, Angeline Hajduk, and Mary Hajduk.

Great-grandchildren Darren Brehm, Courtney Brehm, Riley Marshall, Seath LoTempio, Shianne Hargrave, Caden Urf, Sharyl Rizzo, Edward Charles Hajduk, Luna Coe, Heath Coe, Weylin Coe, Seth Coe.

Great-great-grandchildren Preston Rizzo, Vallorie Rizzo, Lillyanna Carter, and several nieces and nephews.

Family will be present on Friday from  5 - 8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St, (near Harlem) where services will be held on Saturday at 8:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Teresa's Church, located at 1974 Seneca Street, in Buffalo, New York, at 9:30 AM.

Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.
